Ski Season’s Started at Simply Piste

Simply Piste is getting very excited that the new skiing season is just around the corner, and as for the first fall 2010 collection, it has arrived in the form of Columbia!

We work hard throughout the year to find you the perfect ski brands and the perfect skiwear and accessories, so when it starts to arrive we get a little excited!

Columbia Skiwear is the first to hit the shelves and this collection has something for the whole family, mums, dads, tots and teens. Veho Muvi Turns Into Squidio

Did anybody see the latest Gadget Show this week? Ortis Deley and Jason Bradbury had a challenge to product the best gadget toy.

Ortis designed two robots which could fight each other. The robots had cameras in there heads and if you put on the glasses which came with them you could see through the robots eyes and tackle your opponent head on.

Jason designed the Squidio which was a action cam for kids. He wanted to make a robust, easy-to-use camcorder with housing that could fit securely to anything and most of all look pretty funky so kids would love it.

The Squidio (which gets it’s name from the many legs you can use to strap it on to anything) used the Veho Muvi Camcorder in it, probably because it is the smallest video camera you can get and it is robust .

Two toy experts were the judges, and we are very happy to say that Jason won the challenge with the Squidio which we think is a pretty cool toy for kids. They can take it anywhere with them, the skate park, skiing, biking and on their holiday’s.
